This day started so nice. We went to lower mangrove. We visited some friends. It was about 44° Celsius. Because of the heat we went on a boat trip at mangrove creek. On the way back we saw a litte fire. So we rushed back and called the police (in Australia you can call 000). As we arrived, the litte fire ignite to a bushfire.
The fire brigade tryed to keep the fire under control. Unfortunately the fire went out of control and set the bush on fire. The fire came close to the house of our friends. Fortunately nobody was hurt.
At the way back to Sydney we saw the whole Ku-ring-gai National Park (www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/parks.nsf/ParkContent/N0019) was burning.
