when is the washing machine finished

You might heard this story:
in short I did a small phonegap app to remote control a WVC210 network camera. It will read the time remaining - form an iPhone - until the washing machine is finished.
I started with phonegap, zepto.js and lot's of css tweaks.
Thanks @thomasfuchs for zepto. It's great, even if you don't know jQuery.

Here are the version 1 screenshots:

vversion 1 settings screen

version 1 liveview
look at those nice buttons (I spend to much time with css and guessing the cam's api)!

As I wanted to try something new and finish the storage of the settings, I started from scratch and rewrote the app with sencha touch.

Storage, propper MVC and i18n was doable in one day (bit more then 1PD). After 2 houres of WTF, trial and error I was again quite comfortable. (It's based on ext-js and I had some experience with it).

So now the screen shots:

version 2 settings

version 2 liveview

Somehow I liked version 1 better (except for the horrible buttons). But given the speed bump with sencha (premade icons, MVC, good video tutorials, etc...) I think I will stick to version2.
